THE ALPINE RESIDENCE

The Architectural Digest published single-family residence nestled at the base of Utah's Wasatch mountains, embodies a blend of quiet luxury and sophistication. From the enfilade foyer with it’s Venetian plaster staircase to the meticulously curated living spaces designed with flexibility in mind. The home offers ample space for a growing family to create lasting memories, adapting to each new chapter of life. Its thoughtful layout and timeless design ensure it remains a cherished sanctuary for years to come.

THE KITCHEN

As the design for the kitchen and butler’s pantry began to take shape, we envisioned a gorgeous butler’s pantry that provides ample space for preparing kids’ school lunches and offers a perfect spot to pour an evening glass of wine to unwind after a busy week. The pantry's functionality is enhanced by thoughtful storage solutions and elegant finishes, making it a practical yet stylish addition to the home. It serves as a seamless extension of the kitchen, catering to both the family's daily routines and their entertaining needs. This space is designed to be a versatile and welcoming part of the home.

THE GREAT ROOM

The yin and yang played a significant role in our conceptualization. Traditionalism, provided by the architectural elements, balances the bold, clean lines of the brutalist-inspired fireplace. We honored the client’s intent to create a warm and comfortable space grounding the area with bronze hardware, fusing the bouclé-like knub rugs together underfoot, continuing the balance and distance celebrated not only in the rugs but also in the art and furnishings.

The large in scale windows creating blurred lines between the walls of the home and the property’s grounds. Bringing Alpines exquisite ever changing seasons as the backdrop to the interior. The clients doors are always open to the couples large local families we embraced the challenge by creating a 160” long sofa and groupings of chairs to accommodate a “more the merrier” approach.

THE PRIMARY SUITE

The primary suite of this exquisite home redefines tranquility and luxury, blending the serene charm of modern design with timeless elegance. The suite features a spacious sitting room, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in hand, and an opulent, spa-like bathroom enveloped in smooth plaster that exudes a sense of calm sophistication. The centerpiece of this retreat is the expansive bedroom with vaulted ceilings, where neutral tones harmonize to create an ambiance of understated elegance. Every detail of the suite is meticulously curated to provide a sanctuary that is both quietly indulgent and serenely welcoming.

Understanding the demands of a bustling household with five children, the clients requested a private haven where they could escape the chaos of daily life. This suite caters to their need for peace and relaxation, offering a space where they can recharge after long, busy days. The design thoughtfully balances functionality with luxurious comfort, ensuring that every corner of the suite serves their need for tranquility. Tailored to their lifestyle, this personal retreat offers a much-needed refuge that reflects their appreciation for quiet elegance and sophisticated design.

THE NURSERY

A beautifully designed nursery-playful in pattern, yet calming in color. This serene backdrop offers the ideal setting for our client to lay their tired little one down for bed. The room's thoughtful design balances stimulation and tranquility, making it a versatile space for both playtime and restful sleep. This combination ensures the nursery is both functional and soothing, perfectly suited to the needs of a growing family.

VINTAGE SKI POSTERS ADD A NOSTALGIC TOUCH, WHILE MID-CENTURY MODERN NIGHTSTANDS AND A MID-CENTURY-INSPIRED DESK LAMP COMPLETE THE ROOM’S COHESIVE AESTHETIC. EACH PIECE TELLS A STORY, CELEBRATING THE TIMELESS APPEAL OF CLASSIC DESIGN.
